FAQ
What is the academic calendar?:
Academic calendar indicating the dates and the dates of university activities; such as the start of the school year, classrooms, and an end, and periods of clouds and the addendum, and the dates of final exams. (Please see the University Calendar).
What is the University ID?:
Number indicates the academic year, the chapter that begins when the student study, in addition to the serial number of the students in that year, and the classroom. Example: University ID
(201110103) means: the academic year (2011/2012), the first term (1), and serial number (0103).
What Is A Credit Hour?:
The number of hours the student to attend to a specific subject each week throughout the semester. Example: Arabic Language and weight (3) credit hours, or that the student must attend (3) hours per week for two (16) weeks in the regular semester.
What is the plan of study?:
A set of materials that the student must successfully overcome, to get a bachelor's degree in the specialty, which is studying. It consists of the requirements of the university, college and specialization, as well as free articles.
What is the level examinations?:
All new students apply for the three exams level in the following subjects: Arabic - English - computer skills, prior to their registration to their schedule of study, to determine their level of these substances, and, if successful, are exempt from the study of materials catch-up, and if they failed, they should register for the catch-up material (do not count those hours of material within the plan of study).
How to record your schedule school?:

What happens if a student is absent for lectures?:
If you missed the student more than (15%) of the total scheduled hours of the material, without an excuse satisfactory or compulsive acceptable to the Dean, deprived of the progress of the final exam, and is the result in that article is zero (FA), and upon re-examination if required. Any student who gets placed on a lower rate than the rate of (2.00) points at the end of any unusual chapter (except the first chapter of his study) on the Alert List (please see details in the student guide).
Is it possible to study the material in some other university?:
Allows students to the university - with the consent of the Dean - study no more than (36) credit hours at another university, recognized, under certain conditions (please see student guide).
Is it permissible to postpone the study at the university?:
The applicant may defer his studies at the university, for a period not exceeding four chapters, whether continuous or intermittent. Does not allow for the student or emerging signing to the university to postpone his studies, but after a full semester on joining the university.
Where you can have hobbies?:
The student can pursue his/her hobbies through the activities organized by the Students’ Affairs Deanship, such as the Chess Club, football, basketball, singing, dabka (a group dance, in which the dancers line up with locked arms or holding hands), acting and in the university chorus.
